[Fixed - Solution Inside] PayDay Wont Launch. Black Screen then crash

Hey guys, so i bought payday yesterday and was unable to get it to run. I would launch it from steam and it would load up a black screen then crash. No pop up crash log but i was able to find the crash log in the steam folder.

EDIT:
Solution!: I found the problem and was able to fix it! If you have a videocard that is not with Nvidia(such as ATI/AMD) then you need the Nvidia PhysX driver 9.09.0408 , rather than the 9.10.0513 provided by Overkill.

Steps:

1. Start --> Control Panel --> Uninstall program --> Nvidia PhysX
2. Download Phys Driver 9.09 from http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_9.09.0408_whql.html
3. Install
4. Play!

Edit #2: For anyone curious if the newest driver 9.11 would work, it doesnt :/.
Thats the first thing i tried but sadly it doesnt work. The reason it doesnt work is beacuse Nvidia disabled Physx support for any non-Nvidia cards pass 9.09. The reason why you need it even though you are with ATI/AMD is beacuse PhysX is a engine used by quite some games and therefore everyone need to have it for the application to run it.

I tried:

Updating graphic card drivers

Deleting Nvidia PhysX (i have no idea why i have this as im with ATI/AMD)

reinstalling it as suggested by: http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=2190381

Running the W32 exe file but it still crash

Or you can just exit steam and run the .exe as admin, itll fix it too. Black screen happened to me cause i have amd.

That works for me. But it's kinda weird that I have to download PhysiX Drivers, although I'm a AMD Radeon user.

But the newest driver is 9.11.1107:

Haven't tried it, so I would be greatful if anyone can confirm that the game also runs fine with the newest driver.
