Selecting stages

Simple question.

I want to play a certain stage, or at least restart the "campaign". When I go for New Game, it says it will reset my profile. I don't want to lose my weapon upgrades or parts. I'd just like to repeat the earlier stages to go for no repair kit achievements and whatnot.

So if I go for New Game, will it get rid of my weapon upgrades and parts? How can I select a stage and repeat however many times I want without having to loop the entire story?

If you select new game, it will erase your old data.
If you load your old game and go into the menu from there, if memory serves you should be able to level select from there.

The only option available is "Resume", which simply takes you to the beginning of the level you were at before leaving. There doesn't seem to be any way to either restart the story or select levels.

I just checked myself. You must go into your inventory and then you can change to the stage select tab.
