NyxQuest and OS X Lion

NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits crashes during start up on OS X Lion (10.7.2) running on a MacBook Pro (2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM). For what it is worth, the demo from the developer's Web site also crashes during start up.

I am also having this problem on my MacPro (Lion). I tried a fresh install but it didn't help.
