Add confirmation / prompt when clicking unpack gift.
As far as I know, you can't repack the gift if you accidently click unpack.

Also, a notification that the gift was unpacked would be useful. I just tried to unpack Dota 2, but it didnt seem like anything happened when I clicked the button. Then I refreshed the page (maybe a javascript issue) and the gift had disappeared.
I had to go hunting through my Library to confirm it had been unpacked. |

Yes, I hope this gets fixed/changed. I just recently unpacked a gift that I intended to give to someone else. The ellipsis on the button ("Unpack gift...") is misleading as I was expecting to get a dialog where I could confirm/cancel. I didn't even realize until this morning that I had accidentally unpacked it.

Same thing happened to me. Won a copy of World Basketball Manager 2010 (Really?) and wanted to try to trade it. I thought I needed to unpack it before I traded it, and there were no explanations or dialog boxes to tell me otherwise, so I did.
"Unpack" is not a normal word used in web interfaces, and should be explained on the page since the action is undoable. Also, as mentioned above, the ellipses is misleading. This needs to be fixed, and those of of who were affected by it should be given our games back in a tradeable form. |
