Mouse Problems
Hey, I really liked the first AAaaAAaa(etc), and was excited to get this. However, I've got a problem. When im in the game, my mouse just constantly tries to go up. Its unplayable because of this, and I cant figure out why. I haven;t modified any settings at all, and I've tried launching it multiple times after restarting, mouse drivers, etc.
Has anyone else had this issue and can anyone else figure out how to fix it? Thanks |

I'm having the same issue, more or less. The difference is mine moves to the left. Makes the game too frustrating to play.

Do you have joypad plugged in? That caused mouse problems for me in some games...

Right - It might be a joystick. However, I cant unbind things in the config options, and unplugging the device (a G13 - It has a Joystick Mode) didnt work either.

It`s not related to the joypad; at least for me.
My mouse is constantly trying to go to the left. Even while i`m not touching anything. I don`t have anything plugged in, even usb! |

1.) Unplug all USB (or otherwise) input devices from your computer. Quit Awesome.
2.) Plug in only the mouse. If the mouse cursor begins moving up the screen miraculously, then throw out your mouse. If the mouse is acting normally, launch the game and if the problem is now gone, one of the input devices you had previously plugged in was causing this slight upward movement. In addition: You mentioned not being able to un-bind an input. You can double click on a listing in the Input dialog and then set it to something obscure like an F-Key or a number pad number that you'll never use in-game. That effectively un-binds it. EDIT: Unbinding cant be done on an "axis" like i mentioned above. You can plug in a joypad and pick a different axis, but that kinda stinks. We're looking into it. Also, the first aaaaaa works fine for me. Also also, my mouse is brand new for christmas, and even my old mouse does the same. I don't think its my mouse. Also, I cant bind joypad controls to buttons, it has to be on an axis |

Hmm, the game seems to support a controller but the "mouse" still moves to the left with or without it plugged in. Also, if I move the mouse to different parts of the screen, it may move up or down. Either way, it never stands still. This is definitely a bug in the game not with our input devices.

We're working on it, fear not. ![]() I've talked to Owlchemy about this, and we have some thoughts on a fix. If you guys haven't already, send a DxDiag dump to us at support@dejobaan, and we'll gather data. |
