Question Fallout Mod Manager fails to launch.

Hi,

I'm trying to use Fallout Mod Manager for New Vegas but the program refuses to launch.

After selecting New Vegas in the game selection window I get the following message:

"Something bad seem to have happened. As long as it wasn't too bad a crash dump will have been saved in c:\...\crashdump.txt"

This is the content of the crashdump.txt:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at Fomm.PackageManager.ModInstallLog.InstallLog.InitM ods()
at Fomm.PackageManager.ModInstallLog.InstallLog.Load( )
at Fomm.PackageManager.ModInstallLog.InstallLog..ctor ()
at Fomm.Program.Main(String[] args)

I have tried an older version of the program but I get exactly the same error.

Thanks in advance for any help on how to get this program running correct.

System:

i7 920 6GB ram 560ti Windows7 64

Try following this video, it shows a way to repair FOMM after a "Something bad has happened..." error. It's for fixing FOMM after installing NMM, but it may be worth a try (thanks to xizar for finding this video a while back).

Thanks for your reply Dr Scuttles, but I already managed to load FOMM by deleting all files located in "c:\games\FalloutNV\Install Info\"
