Should I buy DA Ultimate even though I have the retail disc version of DA: Origins?
I bought DA:O a couple months after its release. I have not bought any DLC but I got Awakening as a gift.
Now that DA: Ultimate is half off until tomorrow (I guess) should I buy it as well? And does the DLC I have from DA:O (Blood Dragon armor and Shale quests) carry over to Ultimate if I activate Ultimate Edition on my bioware account to receive the other DLC offered. I just bought DA: UE while already having DA:O.
DA: UE contains everything, that includes Shale and the Blood Dragon Armor. I added the key to my origin account, and when I started DA:O I was able to download and play everything, just remember to register the keys to BioWare Social site. |

No it is not, just remember to login with the EA/BioWare account on which you added the retail and Ultimate Edition.
The DLC will be available to download then. |

Thank you very much. Went ahead and bought the game right before the sale ended.
