Game running slower than it should?

Hello I'm running NBA 2K12 on these specs:

Intel Core i7-2860 QM @ 2.50 ghz (3.6 ghz w/ turbo boost)
16 GB RAM
nVidia gtx 580M

Right now I run it at 30 fps maxed out except with AA off and crowd detail set to medium. Is this normal because I can run games like Battlefield 3 and Crysis 2 maxed at 30 fps.

doesnt sound right to me. Should be able to run the game at 60 fps no problem. I max the entire game out at 60 fps with everything, 4x AA.
