Audio Loopback

On Voice chat when i have my mic plugged in everything is ok, but when i unplug the mic the audio output (What im listening to or what someone else is saying) Is looped back to them. So I listen to a song and im talking to a friend. When i unplug my mic the friend hears his own voice and my song. Any way to fix this?

Sounds like your headphones/speakers or some other line-in device is acting as a default mic when your actual mic is unplugged.

Check your recording devices with the mic unplugged and see what's becoming the default device.
