MW3 (Can't Connect to Online Services) COMPLETE FIX

I want to update those who are in need of help on this issue.

The fix is as follows:

1) Go to control panel

2) Network Sharing

3) click your network connection (wireless one or w.e)

4) Screen that says Wireless Network Connection Status Opens
Then Press properties

5) Then go to sharing

6) And then UNCHECK both Internet Connect Sharing boxes, make sure your NOT sharing.

This WILL fix your problem!

I would love to see if this fixed my problem, but I don't have a sharing tab on mine :'(

Sharing tab is through wireless connections yes BUT can be found within a wired connection to as the wired has the choice to share files. I'll get back to you soon when I can spot it out for you but this "whole sharing" thing is what is causing the issue.

I've individually helped 5 people and it has worked for them all. Make sure all sharing is off.

Its a firewall issue caused after an EXE update. Manually re-add the game EXE to your firewall even if it already exists in the list.

Steam Error 2?

Will this method fix the Steam Error 2 message?

Both of my copies of CoD MW2 and CoD MW3 are unplayable because of this error. Haven't been able to play for about 2 weeks.

The steam servers are too busy to handle your request for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Error Code (2)

Please SOMEONE give us some useful fixes for this situation, I've messaged Steam twice three days ago. This is really horrible, I dropped 65.00 on this game and it won't even completely load up? WTF? I've also reinstalled, changed regions, updated steam, verifyied the cashe files, disabled antivirus programs, changed the install directory and even renamed the clientregistry.blob file. I've spent over six hours googling any suggestions in order to get my game to load.

I'm so terribly frustrated, I've tried reasoning to myself that Steam's customer support is absolutely slammed with small issues of every kind. I think I speak for everyone that we would like some attention to this.

This does not help my problem. Me and many others are able to play with other accounts, just not our own. There is some sort of account corruption that nobody wants to look into fixing.
