Another 'is the game dead' topic.

I saw TBs section 8 video the other day and wanted to know if the game is dead or not.

i'm interested in this question too. this game looks raelly awesome but id on't want to spend $15 only to find out there is no one playing.

Tb did open 2 servers and those are rarely empty, Im watching at the server browser right now and there are 6 servers with people in them.

Both TBs servers seem to be constantly full (40 people each) but hard for me to say if it'll stay that way as I joined just yesterday. What I can say though is that the game is crazy fun and doesn't suffer from typical indie lack of polish.

what about the DLC packs? Worth it? That's an extra £10. :S

Bought the core game and I like it alot. But was forced to buy the DLCs because every server is running them I'm always getting kicked when the maps change.

Just played a quick cooperative game with three other fellows so it's not quite dead, have not tried competitive multiplayer yet but the game is INCREDIBLY FUN and content packed given the price tag so you should definitely consider getting it!

Personally I think the game can be great even if there's no one online...
The AI is surprisingly good and versatile in this game and you can have them as partners in CO-OP or play with them and against them in 16v16 conquest!

So its not dead, because these 2 regions are the regions with the most players.

I'm terrible at this game but I pop in every few days hoping to improve slightly and have some fun in the process. I usually see at least a few servers up and running, and sometimes the Total Biscuit servers are full.

I hopped onto the TB server the other night after being away from the game for a few months
100 some odd ping, but played pretty smoothly

Well, I was thinking about buying it, but its around 6 PM GMT of a thursday and looking at this http://www.gametracker.com/search/s8...ntry&order=ASC ... only TB's server has people playing. Plus its GFWL, what its never good.

And Im sure thanks to the lack of servers you will have to buy the DLCs to continue playing or you are screwed.
