Still can't play Sacred 2
So I won a 75% off sacred 2 coupon and being the RPG gamer I am, I was excited. I bought the game for 5 dollars on Jan. 2 and installed it. The game pops up with an error "Failed to contact key server." Apparently everyone who bought this game recently has had the same problem. Its been 2 days and frankly I'm tired of waiting to play a game I paid for. Any clue when this game will be fixed?

An hour ago it seemed like it was at least TRYING to find the key instead of immediately going to 'failed to contact key server' but now its immediately going straight to failing again.

Same here. I wrote support, ~3 days later they told me to restart Steam, and it's a load issue (they gave my friend the same response). I of course responded that this was not the issue, and haven't heard back. This is my first time dealing with Steam support. Is it always like this??
I'm honestly blown away that they're still selling a game that doesn't work (and from these forums it sounds like even after I get it, it still will barely work in Win7), AND that this game was part of their holiday sale this year. Insane. |

Starting to think the reply from support isn't even human, its just an automated message, the company thinks they understand the problem or have it under control but they clearly don't/don't care.

I had that thought too - but if it took 4 days to send, man that's a terrible automated system...
