An error occured while updating Just Cause 2 (Missing decryption key)
This is really annoying. I have had Just Cause 2 for about 2 months and played it when I finished downloading it, so it worked fine then, now an update came out and it is not letting me start it up and saying "An error while updating Just Cause 2 (Missing decryption key)"

Has to be a Steam glitch (which seems to be all the more common these days) where a random game will suddenly download a random amount of data, making it appear as though a new patch is being applied, even though it most likely isn't a patch at all. Have you tried verifying the game cache?
1. Open Steam 2. Right-click the game in Steam 3. Select Properties 4. Select the Local Files tab 5. Click the Verify integrity of game cache... button Step 5 will take a few moments to finish. When it completes, try running the game again. |
