Surfer - Achievement

Hi there, can anyone recommend a way on getting this achievement?
I tried different stuff for about an hour now, but i can't seem to get it done.

Help would be much appreciated!

Did you do this yet? I seem to remember several breaking branches in the second part of Chapter Two - "It's a Bug" - and a very good opportunity in the third part, "The Return". There was a branch that snapped off and, provided you were oriented the right way up you surfed for quite a while. Long enough to get the achievement at least.

Did you get the Shown White achievement?

I'm still trying to get this.
Shown White was no problem at all but i cant get this here :/

Edit: After a while of trying different things with the branches on the 2 mentioned stages i finally got it. Thanks for your support inspiral66!
