Games Recent News stopped updating

Hi all,
In Steam on each game, the "Recent News" section stopped updating months ago. I thought this was on Steam's side, but on my friend's computers they're all updating the news section just fine. This is when you're looking at a game in your library, scroll down and see "Recent News."
I'm sure I just have to delete a cache file someplace, but I can't find it. Redownloading steam did nothing and I'm not going to delete the whole steam apps folder as these games are humongous!
