Game lengths

Beat Geneforge 1 with most areas cleared and no rushing in just under 40 hours. Are the other ones longer or similar in size? Just curious.

I'm past mid-game in Geneforge 2 and I'm already up to 43 hours (unaligned, 80% of the zones explored), so it seems it can take about 50h to finish for me. Geneforge 1, on the other hand, took me about 45h.

I'm not sure about the rest in the series, but GF3 seems to be the shortest one, from what I've read.

That's what I thought at about 80% too, but it was significantly longer. I explored everything in the second game except for the final, most difficult area and it took me 68 hours. Of course, you can finish it much earlier, but you'll be missing a lot and will get an unsatisfying ending.

Geneforge 1 took me the same, exploring everything - 45 hours.
