but is it ok to talk about playing no mercy online here? I know it's technically hacking....but relatively harmless and what arguably should've been an option upon release. Regular mercs is too easy and this mode would be amazing with a partner (or two!).

Sweet...so yea sucks that most people don't actually play with no mercy enabled online..or for that matter even have the versus patch :/.

No Mercy with two players.. now that'd be pretty cool i imagine.

Nicely sixed hordes of enemies coming at you from all sides.. oh yeah, that'd be damn good times indeed.

Don't have to imagine it some crafty modders made it doable...it's just that most people don't have it. The amusing part is that before I had this patch I could still join people who had the versus patch...and presumably play no mercy regardless. But I'm guessing it's also the reason some people drop randomly as well.
