Mass Effect 1 no 1920x1080?

Is there something I am missing? The highest resolution available is 1280x720 in the game menu. I'd sure hope as the game is on PC they would let you run it at native resolution.

Click on "Configure" just under "play" on the launcher. Then go to Video, and change resolution. You may have to change the aspect ratio to find your native res.

aspect ratio should be 16:9 for 1920x1080

There are a pair of somewhat hard to see scroll buttons (they look like double arrows pointing up and down) on the top and bottom of the drop down resolution list in the game menu. click on these to move the list up and down.

Many people seem to miss them...

You can also manually set the resolution by going into My Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config\ and opening BIOEngine.ini. In there, look for the [WinDrv.WindowsClient] section and edit the following:

StartupResolutionX=1920
StartupResolutionY=1080

Save and exit, then play the game.

yea..i didnt see it at first but hit the scroll down arrow and you will see more
