The community would like an update Valve/HPE
This is a thread telling Valve and HPE that we'd like an update for GO and whilst i'm sure they're very busy we'd appreciate it if we atleast got updated to the version you guys have at the moment.

+1 - I don't know what to think about CS:GO or the developers atm because we never hear anything from them, haha.

I expect an update very soon. After all, they said on several of their blogs and forums that they have just last week returned from their holiday/vacation.

I'm hoping its some time in January, an update is much needed. I would love to hear some news on this via twitter, they should really post some progress weekly if not more.

+1, I expect that chet will officially confirm that there won't be an open beta. I hope tho, that there will be some good news, like an early release, or a new weapon model for the m4^^

+1 for this post, good post - needed post. But, I would like them to not only post on Twitter, but to post on the forums as well. Just open a thread saying what they're currently thinking about the state of the game at this point.

I tried going over to HPE's forums to ask there for an update but they say to ask for info on the Steam forums and we know how much use that is...

I'd like that a lot. A thread where what's going around the office and what the staff are thinking about is posted. Perhaps it's too much for us to ask for this sort of intimate contact with the devs? Maybe they really don't see why we require so much attention.

I don't think a simple status update is too much to ask. It would be nice to have an ongoing thread to communicate with the devs, but I really want to see some sort of news post that tells us what the hell is going on...I mean they still haven't fixed the radar in CSS. Is HPE on some sort of long winter vacation or something??

I know alot of you aren't on ESEA, or simply don't read the news. But there is much more activity on the e-sport side of things and Valve is at these functions. This is good news for everyone as they're really going the right route this time around:
