Worth it?
Game looks interesting. How fun is it to just play around with things in it?

Try the free version: http://universesandbox.com/download/
It's the type of simulation I like to play with but it's not as straight foward as it seems on the trailer. This "game" looks interesting, but the free version is crashing on my PC and I don't know why. |

I think it's worth it (especially at only $2.50 USD), but I'm biased because I made it.
I've ripped Saturn's ring apart over a thousand times (seriously) and I'm still amazed at how beautiful and amazing the results are every time. We're working on a major update for next year (and a Mac version). The plan is to update everyone who's ever bought for free, so you can expect some longevity out of your small investment (while letting me hire more developers and artists to make the next update even more awesome). Thanks for your consideration.

Indie development is very important. It's very important to support products like this. I rather give me money to guys like Dan than to the big boys. Will be purchasing your product today and gifting a copy or 2.

For $2.50 and you get to support and indie developer? Worth every penny. I looked at this game in the past and hoped it would be a daily deal during the winter sale. Bought it 20 minutes after it went on sale.

I've had my eye on this game for a while. I purchsed it this evening. I've twice now tried to start the game and it's crashed before fully loading in. That's not a good sign.
Hopefully can find a fix so I can finally give it a try here. Update: Seems to have resolved itself now. Last edited by d3cypher: 12-30-2011 at 07:35 PM. |
