Is there any way to limit the framerate?

I want to limit my framerate at 75fps.
The game runs at 130fps, vsync limit it to 60fps (my monitor is set to 75Hz ), but i got performance issues with it and mouse lag.
Any way to limit the framerate?

if you have an nvidia card, then yes.

download n
nvidia inspector

find payday profile, and one of the options will be framerate limiter.

I use it and it works. 60fps cap + no vysnc = smooth mouse + no overheating from high framerate

I cannot thank you enough for this. My computer became the room's radiator with the 130fps!

So it's not just me whose graphics card gets nice and toasty from Payday? I mean, 67 isn't really hugely toasty, but it's the hottest that I've ever seen my card. Is there an ATI equivalent to NVidia inspector, if I might ask?

Of course, I'm all but giving props to Overkill for actually making their game *use the graphics card* for graphics. So many games I own completely slaughter my CPU, but leave my GPU not doing much. Rustles my jimmies, it does.

67 degrees isn't hot by any means. I wouldn't recommend worrying yourself over temps until it hits around 80, and even then your card can probably take another 20 without even breaking the "safe" threshold
