Sorry to be one of "those guys", but I recommend you try the demo. For some reason, the controls really bother me. Seems like a good game, but I'm constantly moving in the wrong direction (probably due to the isometric view) with my gamepad.

Controls bother me enough to not purchase, but to each his own. Had the developer allowed the playfield to be rotated even to within 15 deg off the cardinal, it would have made a big difference in a positive way.

As everyone says, try the demo and decide yourself!

100% agree with negatus on this one.
I'm sure EDGE is a rather solid game otherwise, but the controls don't feel as tight as they should be. It's almost impossible for me to control EDGE with the keyboard and even with my Xbox 360 gamepad it does take getting used to. And I actually grew up with isometric games like (the original) Head over Heels and (the original) Marble Madness.
While Two Tribes did a great job with the port (they aren't the original developers and it shows), it still shows that this game was originally developed for iOS and therefor a very different platform with very different controls.
But there is a demo, it's a quick and small download ... try it before you buy it.

Totally worth it, well a little more when the pack was on holidays sale

It's my favorite game by far from two tribes, brilliant design, music and challenge. A solid ten hours and more for achievements. I'd say a controller with a D-pad is a must and I had no problem with the X360 D-pad.

Two Tribes DID NOT develop this game. It is normally an iphone game.

Mobigame is the developer. Two Tribes just ported it to PC.

It is quite a good game but feels a bit like a roller coaster ride. It is fun but you don't have allot to do. Its mostly a race against the clock, not much of a puzzle.
