My Save Game Disappeared?

So I logged on to play AC today, and my game is gone?
I have achievements that clearly show my progress in the game.

Has anybody else had this problem?

I used to own the GFW version...bought it through Amazon. They let me return it because it was so buggy.

Thought the Steam version would be better. Spent another $25.00 After spending many hours on this, I would appreciate some help from Steam or somebody to find my save game =(
This truly sucks.

yep...I have this game on PS3 as well, and I just can't seem to win. No platform, laptop, desktop, or system seems to run it properly for an extended period of time. I just want my save game back on here.

You should have kept the other version you had.

Even some people who still have their savegames aren't playing this game for fear of losing it.

My game crashed earlier and I just went back to it to see my 30% save gone.
Seriously? I was jarateed off enough when I lost my save at the final boss in Asylum and couldn't see the ending but the sequel is doing the same thing?
This needs to be fixed.

I logged in earlier today and the game was working fine and then I tried to open it a few minutes ago and my save game is gone.
I was 97% done on that.

i haven't played since last year, don't wanna start again until they fix it. already lost one save, don't wanna lose another.
