Account Flagged!?

Today my account was flagged by Steam Support saying it violated its terms of service agreement, before you ask no I have never scammed anyone or used cheats. Perhaps someone could tell me why? my account wasn't disabled but it was restricted meaning I can't buy any games from the store, steam trade, or gift anyone. I've already sent out a message to Steam Support earlier today and I'm already waiting. Could anyone Valve employee or user give me an idea maybe as to why my account was flagged?

Have you been trading lately? Maybe you traded a game for a game that was illegally acquired and when you traded that game for another game, that User reported you.

I traded my buds for Assassin's Creed Revelations on Dec. 29, 2011 but the user contract agreement stated that if there's any discrepancies with the purchase of the game the guy who purchased it should be the only one to be held liable in that case. Ah well could be worse right?

It won't be disabled permanently right? the ability to steam trade and purchase games?

Unless Mike or Burton fly by here nobody is able to tell or promise you anything as right now it's still unclear why your account actually has been flagged in the first place.

It could very well be because of the ACR trade (fraud, chargeback by the other user, whatever), but the only thing you can do right now is to be patient and wait for the support to reply and tell you what exactly the problem is.

Nothing to do with Steam Community, so this goes to the general area.

The point of the flagging message is to have you contact support. You should contact support.
