Why is it called "Extremes"? Is this some sort of expansion or sequel?

Can't I just do ship things in nice weather?

Haven't the Italians taught us that you can be totally extreme even in perfectly calm seas? Just takes a really big boat, and a fantastic lack of depth perception.
