Laptop wireless won't work

One of my friends let me use an old laptop for school and stuff, and all i had to do is get it working, i just re installed windows 7 onto it, but i couldn't get it to connect to the internet until i downloaded the LAN driver from the gateway website, and now i am trying to get the wireless to work, but it doesn't even detect that it is capable of wireless. I have searched everywhere for the wireless drivers, but i can't find them, it is a gateway laptop, model NV53A.

Use your ethenet to connect to the net. Go here. Download gratuitous amounts of drivers.
