Bioware points on sale (Mass Effect DLC for cheap)

If you add something to your cart and then click "add bioware points" you can purchase 1200 points for 4,88€ (6,3$)

This brings the dlc to such price point, I can finally play these missions.

You sure that's not a regional thing? I'm still showing the 1200 points as $15.00 USD, and all the other prices matching up to what they normally are.

I don't know, guess it must be, or and error in european pricing, all the other points are in standard prices but the 1200 points is currently cheaper.

I just put the $ value for reference in the original post. Maybe you could use an european proxy to get them cheap?

And risk having EA cut off access to my copy of ME2? No thanks. Given that they ban people from their games for screwing around on their forums, I'm not taking the risk.

Besides, I have all the story DLC already.

Shows $7 for 1200 points for me too. I'm in Canada.

Looks kind of like it might be an error though? I mean, all of the other options for points are all their original prices.

But i dont think this is a cheap price for DLC.

I bought ME1 and ME2 for like 5 $..

yea $10 for both..Im not gonna bother with bioware stuff. Didnt the one on steam come with dlcs anyway..then again EA wants to keep releasing dlcs..

lol that wouldnt be nice. i had an internet blackout in my area for about 6 months and only last week i bought and played all the story DLC's for ME2 and bring down the sky for ME1.

it would be like when i bought and played portal 2. when i finished it the game was about 50% discount

Steam version came with the Cerberus dlc (ME2) but for the others you need to pay. It still isn't dirt cheap but enough for me to buy them.

Yeah I haven't lived in a place where they used Euros in..

..well, ever. They used Deutsche Marks back then, so I'm not sure what the reduction you're looking at is.

Just to confirm for anyone that may be wondering - the cost for 1200 points in £ is £4.33 too...

Seems like it might be an error and only in Europe; all the other prices seem the same, but they've added 1200 points at a decreased value.

Not complaining!

Still pretty expensive, I wanted to buy Shadow Broker, but then I will have 400 points left, and all other worthy DLC's are 560. I really hate this point system -.-

Also looks like it's some glitch only, I doubt EA would make sale like this...

See this is the exact reason I brought up as to why the DLC's not on Steam.

If it were on Steam, you'd pay $X.XX exactly for the DLC, instead of paying $X.XX for 1200 points, having XXX points left over, but not enough for other DLC, so you have to buy more points, you still end up with points left over, but not enough for DLC, so you have to buy more points etc etc.

a dirty tactic, quite common on some games though(mainly f2p social network games)
