Bioware points on sale (Mass Effect DLC for cheap)

If it were on Steam, you'd pay $X.XX exactly for the DLC, instead of paying $X.XX for 1200 points, having XXX points left over, but not enough for other DLC, so you have to buy more points, you still end up with points left over, but not enough for DLC, so you have to buy more points etc etc.

You can buy the exact amount of points for the major DLCs. Who pays money for re-skinned guns and characters anyway?

Keep in mind that ME3 will likely have dlc also and if you are interested in them you can use the extra points in those products (or other bioware games). Its not like the points disappear in a month, just use them next time. I allready stocked some points for the future as it seems these dlc's never go on sale, atleast on pc.

Yes i'd rather have them directly on steam and its stupid to play with these points.

Price was fixed, so it wasn't sale but glitch as I expected...

Its still the same price for 1200 points in euros as it is for 560 points, so it isn't fixed yet here.

I currently have 2720 points on my account. Do you guys think that it will be enough for the ME3 mission DLCs? I presonally doubt it.

Depends how many they plan to release, ME2 story dlc's cost 2480 but you never know how greedy they get with popular games (cough call of duty).

You are absolutely right, they will probably do this with ME3, but I don't care in this case. If ME3 will be as good as ME1 and 2, I'll gladly buy all the story DLCs.

Ugh, lame... I just bought 800 points for the Shadow Broker and it didn't show me the 1200 one at all. Only 400, 560, 800 and 1600 points packages.

Oh well, still need Kasumi, Overlord and Arrival so two of 1200 then!


Edit: To actually see the option to buy 1200 points you have to do this:
- Go to any dlc and click buy. Don't worry, you're not going to buy it.
- On the page that follows it either says buy on the button (if you had enough points) or buy points (if you didn't). Don't click it.
- Go to this link: https://masseffect2.points.bioware.c...out/showOffers
- You then get to the page where you can buy the cheap 1200 points for 4,88 euro!
- After you bought it you'll be put back on the dlc buy page, just click cancel there if you didn't want to buy it.

Just a heads-up... this, from the Digital Services Agreement you must agree to before you buy points..
