Unhappy SteelSeries 3GC Dual Vibration PC Gaming Controller can it be used with Skyrim

I have done everything except stand on my head -- it is a copy of the MS 360 control -- usb to PC -- but nothing -- is there a work around for this controller? any help greatly appreciated for this 66 yr old geezer living a second life as a blond longhair Orc named Snot-Blossom!

thanks in advance

Does it just not work? or is it a specific problem?

If the former, you need to go to the manufacturers webpage and install their drivers for it to work.

If the later, what is the problem exactly?

Oh it works fine , go through control panel, to game controllers - and works fine in both analog and digital modes - it does exactly what it say it is doing all buttons, both joys, etc - work fine - but hook it up to skyrim and it does not see it - now I know when you go to jounal in game play I made sure 360 degree controller was checked off -- this is being played on a very powerful Clevo laptop - i7 cpu, 8 gig of DDR3 RAM, SCREEN RES 1920 X1200,NVIDA VIDEO CARD. SO IT IS NOT ENOUGH POWER THAT IS PLENTY --

Is it that skyrim only see the MS xbox (style) 360 controller - this steelseries is a spin off of the 360 controller?

forgot to mention - no matter whether the 360 controller is x in or x out in the game play in journal - the mouse and keyboard continue to work -- but the controller will not - and yes plugged into usb2 port.

You may need to emulate the 360 controller

Pardon me, but it appears that whoever posted the video deleted their Youtube account. What should games like myself do now?
