Done waiting for an official Valve app, getting the Steam Friends pro, it sounds good.

Fun fact: Windows Phone has more users than Linux.
Sad fact: Linux client is on the way while Windows Phone is not. |

Sad fact: Nokia made the same mistake, and is now in trouble for over-representing their Lumia sales to investors.[3] [1] might be a bit of an underestimate for Linux, but it still illustrates the significant lead that desktop Linux has over Windows Phone. 0.95% is significantly higher than 0.03%; perhaps too much higher? [2] seems more reliable IMHO. [2] from Wikimedia gives a more optimistic view for Windows phones; however, even if you add together all possible numbers (175M for Nokia, 81.2M for Windows, 22.1M for Windows CE, and the full 589M in the "other" category) it still only reaches 867M, which is less even than just Ubuntu's 883M. [3]Heck, it was actually rather hard to find statistics on WP7/8 because nearly every Google result for "Windows Phone sales" was about Nokia's complete and utter failure to actually move Windows Phones even at a very competitive $100 price point. Nonetheless, I will admit that the premises for my previous argument (if Valve does not consider Linux's usage share sufficient for attention, then they will also ignore the lesser usage share of Windows Phone) no longer hold, and as a gesture of good will toward fellow users of under-appreciated operating systems I do also support the creation of a Windows Phone client. |

Support this 100% of the way, I'm actually a developer for Windows Phone's so I'd be excited to see this on the platform, would start to show the real force that Windows Phone's are coming in with. Although it seems that this thread should be enough to show that. Anyway, it seems like Valve will create a Windows Phone app just because it's Valve and they seem like the type of company who don't disappoint! |

I too support this, having just migrated from iPhone to a Lumia 800.
