Is it worth it? Find out yourself. Here's a GlowFish Demo.

I figure at the very least a few people will come here today asking about GlowFish, wanting a review, etc, so here is a link to download a 60 minute free trial from MumboJumbo's website.

I've heard good things about it myself, looking forward to trying it out. Just waiting for it to finish installing.

To answer two obvious questions...

Yes, it has widescreen support.

Yes, it works with an Xbox 360 controller.

So my 60 minutes just ran out on the trial. I like the fact that you can use/manipulate your followers to help you destroy the enemies. The graphics are definitely nice to look at as well.

Another feature I really like is the map. Checking it often allows you to make sure you've checked everywhere, and it will even show you where secret areas are, as long as you're paying attention.

The only thing I don't like is you lose a follower when you dash, meaning you have to go back and pick it up, unless you can spare it.

Overall, the game's pretty fun, I can see $2.50 being a worthwhile investment.

Seems super repetitive and shallow. Probably not worth much more than $2.

Well, I bought it on the strength of the demo. Once you get beyond the first few levels it gets pretty challenging. Worth today's sale price IMO.

You spent possibly 60 minutes playing this and you can see $2.50 being a worthwhile investment? Seriously, if $2.50 is an investment to you, I hope you never lose a $20 bill or you'll have to file for bankruptcy.

It amazes me the amount of cheap asses on here that struggle over making a $10 purchase for something they'll spend hours on. I only wish in other aspects of life things can be that cheap.

*throws quarters on the ground* Go nuts big spenders.

Don't be a . Just because someone buys casual games in a sale it doesn't mean they don't buy pricier games from time to time. I have over 250 games in my Steam account because I love games, I love discussing games and their diversity. It's nothing to do with price or status, so get down off your high horse and pick up your quarters.

I'm sure your whole issue is with my use of the word investment, which is a fine word in this situation. I wasn't saying I expect returns or anything, because really, it's a cheap game. I was more speaking for those who may be wondering if they should spend ANY money on the game. I don't care how cheap it is, if it sucks, I don't want it, and I doubt I'm alone in that line of thinking.

If I can get hours out of a game, $10 isn't anything to sweat over. The question is whether or not the game will keep me coming back. If I play it once for 30 minutes and never play it again, obviously it was a waste of money. Chances are you're likely not mature enough to figure this out yourself, but plenty of people live on quite limited income, we can't all go around "tossing quarters" all over the place.

So seriously, take inspiral66's advice, and ditch the horse.

To be honest one of the things I love about steam is the sales,I dont know about you but Im not rich and cant afford to drop inordinate amounts of cash on a game so the deals on here make games alot more accessible for me and really put them down to what I consider a fair price ($60 for a game is not a reasonable price imo)

Back to glowfish, really enjoying it so far Im really enjoying the game, its one of thoes relaxing 'zen' sort of games that has this 'feel good' quality about it, well worth the sale price, Id even say it was well worth the full price.

He seems to think you paid money to play a demo.

I think his issue was with Detnom's use of the word 'investment'. The thing is, though, I have an issue with elitists.
