Game keeps on downloading 0 bytes

Hi,

everytime I log on my Steam the AvP downloads an update of 0 bytes - I always see the message 1 item ready when I start Steam like 1 item have been downloaded!

Why? Is it cloud something something? No other game does it, I would like it not to happen!

I did, 1 file was bad and redownloaded 5MB size. After that it is the same problem, still downloading every time I log in to Steam 0 bytes, annoying!

It's a common bug, A bug that isn't ever going to be fixed as the Devs and Sega gave up on AVP such a long time ago ( a mere few months after release in fact )

The only thing you could do is right click AVP in steam and go to the properties and turn off automatic updating, But then when a file does go bad on you, You'll be stuck with a game that won't launch or that keeps crashing with the "AVP.exe has stopped responding" message.. Until you turn automatic updating back on.

Sorry To have to tell you that but all you can do is ignore it and disable updates on AVP or put up with the slight inconvenience it causes.
