THE GLOVES OF RUNNING URGENTLY Level XX Boxing Gloves +23% movement speed on wearer while active -15 health drained per second on user while active -95% health gained from healers while active -100% Overheal while active Whew. Ok, so removed the damage penalty because no one used the GRU for boxing anyway, and it makes room for more effective nerfs. You now only move at demoman speed with it active, and medics cannot outheal the health drain. FLAME SHIELD ACTIVATED Come at me, y'all. EDIT: So now, there is less text, the drain is 15 per second which means the heavy can use it for a maximum of 20 seconds unassisted by heals, and with healing from the stock medigun he gets 26 seconds at a time on it. Overheal is instantly depleted when they are pulled out. While active, Health packs only heal: 15 (100% packs) 7.5 (50% packs) 3 (lol small packs) Last edited by Kiloace: 02-04-2012 at 06:36 AM. |

Gloves of Running Urgently
plus twenty-six percent movement speed when active minus six maximum health per second when active plus six maximum health per second when not active The plus six maximum health per second when not active will NOT give you any health, and will only raise your maximum health up to your original maximum health. For example: -A heavy has 300/300 hp. -He switches to GRU -He runs around with the GRU for 10 seconds. -After these 10 seconds he has lost 10 * 6 = 60 maximum HP -He has 240/240 HP left. -He switches to a different weapon. -He uses this weapon for 10 seconds. -After these 10 seconds he has gained 10 * 6 = 60 maximum HP. -He now has 240/300 HP left. |

(+)+25% Movement Speed on draw (-) User is set on fire on draw - Effects stack with Buffalo Steak Sandvich No need for all that text. It's all just a bunch of unnecessary text. |

Gloves of Running Urgently Level 1 Boxing Gloves +23% movement speed on wearer while active -6 health per second on wearer while active Blocks healing while in use +20% weapon switch time Fixes the problem with pocket Heavies getting a straight upgrade and Doktor-less Heavies jumping and switching to lessen the damage taken. I removed the damage penalty because then it would, as shinquickman said, have "Cow Mangler Syndrome" and be a bit too nerfed. :P |

How many times do I have to say this?
INCREASED SWITCH DELAY IS NOT A SIGNIFICANT DOWNSIDE, NOR DOES IT FIX GRU JUMPING. God. Do people not understand that you can switch weapons while already switching? It's like they don't play the ♥♥♥♥ing game. And besides that, switch delay is .67 seconds. 20% of that is .134 seconds. OH WOW .804 SECONDS INSTEAD OF .67. SO MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE. Wow. |

Ok, so right now the only issues with this idea are its too much text like the cow mangler. I guess I'll try to edit it a little, but you know its so hard to cover every little loophole to prevent exploiting.

I would use it--maybe if the health loss was less, but if it was, it would be perfect for letting Medics build Uber in situations where this comes up.
