Bug: Inventory Not showing Mission items (X-ray San, Robby toy, etc)

I recently re-installed my game after figuring out some tweaks to make it run smoother. Though now that i play it, wether new game or old save, whenever i pick up and item it does not show up in the Inventory. Is this a new bug or is there some way i can fix this?

I've tried Verifying the game cache and it doesn't seem to do much good.

After buying in holiday sale finally decided to install and play ,when you have to collect other half of xray it doest show in inventory so cannot get the code, so i wonder how many suffer this problem and are there any fixes.

Yeah, I hate bugs like that! They ruin the wholw game. Pity, there's no console in the game to add an item or wrap to an area if a bug occurs.

yeah totally stupid as 5 mins in and nowhere to go now, totally has ruined it,and even if i was told the code how long before another item goes missing i need?. Should be patched up so problems like this dont happen, just glad i got it with 75% off.
