A House Divided Problem

hey everyone hope you all can help me out here. I recently downloaded the new expansion pack "A House Divided" and two problems came up:

1. When I go to play the game I get a screen saying I'm missing MSVCP100.dll from my computer and to try reinstalling to fix the problem, which didn't work.

2.I find updating the game itself might fix problem 1, so I try that and the installer can't even find the expansion pack itself!

Hope someone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Download the dll file from the internet, put it in the expansion folder, see if that works.

Do a file validation check on Steam.

stgeek, did you try this? If so, did it work for you?

I am having the same problem, have tried both of the above and more and no success. Of course, I cannot get any help from Steam, let alone a response from Steam.

I had the very same problem after downloading Victoria 2 -AHD. After verifying the files, Steam realized it had to "reaquire" 915 files. Hopefully, this will update to version 2.1. Will let you know, how I made out.
