Cinematic mod configurable weapons?

the mod configurator lets you choose between vanilla and new NPC models. is there a way to do the same for weapons?

I like the iron sight feature and most of the new weapons, but after seeing the machinegun is just an SMG with RDS I really want to return the vanilla version of it. is there a way of doing so without completely disabling other weapon models?
