BioShock 2 MP

I know people have asked this question many times but is the MP still alive?
Also, how does the lobby system work for this game. I picked a match type and it automatically sent me into a new lobby. No searching for matches, no nothing. Advice needed!

Between 10:00 A.M. & 9:00 P.M. Eastern time there's people on, they're in the Civil War mode but rarely someone will be like "Hey we should play CTS!" and a game branches off onto that..rarely. ^_^ Hope I helped.
