Unexplainable Lag

Hey, When playing Hard Reset I got horrible lag, this can be at anytime even when not in a graphically intense situation, I've tried the MAX settings and LOW settings in all resolutions and performance is exactly the same.

My setup:

Windows 7 home premium 64bit
4GB RAM
Phenom 955 black edition quadcore
ASUS HD 6770 silent edition 1GB

Anyone? Thanks!

Indeed, I've been playing Crisis, Metro, LFD2, Portal 2, COH, RF Armageddon, Fallout 3 etc in the last few months completely fine.

by lag do you mean low framerates?

Yeah, should be more precise, Low frame-rates, ridiculously low.

There is no way to turn the physics off. If there was it would probably break the game (and the person already stated using low details, presumably in all boxes).

Since you are using an AMD card, maybe you should try the developer's suggestion of restoring your driver settings to default levels.

Meant to say turn physics to default from ultra if it is on ultra.

not for this particular problem of performance, but they have suggested it for other issues with ATi cards (just look around the forum and in the stickies), so it can't hurt to try.
