White screen

Good Evening

For some unknown reason, starting this past weekend, whenever I try and play Steel Storm it is as if the brightness is turned right up and everything is just in shades of a very bright white that is almost impossible to see through.

Prior to this the game worked perfectly.

My video driver is up to date (ATI Radeon HD 4600 series)
and I had made no changes to my system.

OS: Win7 Ultimate

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game and the same thing happened.

Oh, and I did some testing. This does not happen with any other game/program on my machine.

Any suggestions on what happened/how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Is this happening in the menus or just in game?
I had this happen once before, but not sure if we determined the cause.

I checked just to see if the problem would happen with no cause and it isn't for me.

It is pretty much as soon as the game starts. The "Loading" screen looks fine, however the following splash screen is where the brightness starts. I've got some screen caps here.

Check in-game gamma settings.

Try going to My Games\steelstorm\gamedata or Saved Games\steelstorm\gamedata\ and deleting config.cfg (the game should not be running) then restarting the game.
