I predict they will reach the goal in two or three hours. Four at most!
And people (read: publishers) say that point-and-click adventure games are dead... EDIT: Seems like it will be less than an hour before they hit the goal! EDIT 2: And it took five minutes since my last edit to hit the goal! Last edited by cadiremar: 02-09-2012 at 02:16 AM. |

Nice. There are also higher tier pledges for the really high rollers. Here's one for example:

They need to add PayPal to their donation system. My country can't use Amazon Payments

I really wish they could somehow secure the Grim Fandango license and make something in the same universe. Psychonauts was great of course, but while I was playing it there were all these little bits of art design that reminded me of Grim Fandango and I rather miss it.

Hopefully they get a big enough hit with this and Psychonauts 2 (assuming that gets off the ground) that they can get the license for Grim Fandango and create a sequel for it.

I bet EA/Activision/Ubi are confused. They'll probably take the wrong message from this and start asking for funds for their triple-A titles up front instead of making games that are good enough that fans will support them.

I put in my $15. Looking forward to seeing more hijinks with Tim Schafer in front of the camera.

But, if the Internet has been telling me the truth, game development is a laborious processes. Curious how long each "monthly" documentary update will be.

I'd really love to get the game for 15 bucks but I can't give money to Kickstarter without a credit card and I live in Germany..
Looks like I just have to wait until it comes out. |
