really bad FPS for specs
Getting only 24 fps in 1920X1080 or only 7FPS in 5760X1080 (3 monitors Nvidia surround view)
CPU: I5-2500k RAM: 8 gigs GPU 2(SLI) 560TI 2gb vram each Just to add a bit more info, I'm using the default video options for the game, not some rediculous AA/AF. My video card hardware monitor shows the game never spiking past 55% GPU usage. The game lags during menus at the same rate as during gameplay. The audio plays normal but there is huge input delay, particularly in surround view. |

I have a Core I7-2600K, ATI 5830 1 gig, 8 gigs ram and Win 7 64 bit and I have no issues what so ever. Could it be you are running it on Vsynch? Try updating sound and video drivers.

Disabling SLI got me between 180-200 fps while racing, however thats only on a single display. I do know SLI does work for some/most people as there are plenty of videos on the net of peole showing off how nice their game looks while running SLI setups.
EDIT: to above poster, V-Sync is off and drivers up to date, thanks for the reply Last edited by Jinx083464: 02-10-2012 at 07:12 AM. |

I wouldn't say I found a fix, but I did find a workaround.
\Users\<username>\Documents\Codemasters\GRID\hardw aresettings\hardw are_settings_config.xml - change the entry fullscreen="true" to fullscreen="false" Also found others mentioning that the bezel correction isn't handled well in grid and you should disable it (had no effect for myself) |

There are plenty of youtube videos of people playing surround view full screen grid with lesser and greater systems than myself, so it does work for some.

If it works fine with one card then it's an issue with SLI. I'd do a google search on GRID+SLI and see what comes up.

I did google all sorts of stuff, spent maybe 2 hours looking around. The performance with only 1 card is easily good enough, but the problem with Nvidia is that you need both cards to do 3 display outputs, opposed to ATI cards with their eyefniity that can do up to 6 displays with only one card.

Interesting Find TeamCrashEmUp. I was not aware that while running multiple GPU's, your effecively getting only the Vram amount of just 1 of the cards due to the information needing to be duplicated on each card for local use. You made me start to doubt my recent purchases but I tried to do some more testing.
I found Dirt 2 would run in 5760X1080 with very respectable FPS at nearly the highest settings, about what I was hoping for, so luckily I'm ok with the 2gb of vram and the sitution with GRID is almost certainly due to the game not properly supporting SLI/crossfire |

I run a Crossfire setup with 2x 6950s. So about the same as your setup. No issues here, at least with one monitor only.
It's either something with the 3-way monitor and/or SLI. |
