pain train

imo, most underrated item in game.

i don't see many people using it.

even if it were only an effectless vanilla, i'd prefer it over the skullcutter's slowness, the eyelander's health drop, caber's blowback, the firepower drop on the nineiron.

You do realize that the Eyelander and the Nine-Iron are statistically identcal, right?

I think that one problem with it is that the Demoman is the team's go-to-guy for taking out Sentries, so bullet vulnerability is a bad thing for him to have.

OUtside of that situation, though, it's pretty good for pushing the cart if you have Medic support.

Now, there are dumb times to use it. I swear to you I've seen people persistently and stubbornly use it on defense.

You never know when cutting the infinite amount of time needed to recap a point in half can be a game changer.

Even when you're playing on an A/D map?

I personally know a guy who uses the pain train on defense (A/D). He says he's too lazy to switch loadouts. The sad thing is, he still tops the scoreboard.

It's good on Demoman. I wish I could use it as a Pyro.

Pain Train should always be equipped...unless you can't cap stuff.

Then you can Caber or whatever.

Fun fact, original creator of Pain Train intended it to be for Pyro.
Seriously, VALVe, why?

I use the Pain Train all the time.

If only they made the downside apply only when doing an objective.

How is it the most underrated weapon when practically over 90% of ESEA Demomen use that thing?
