Sentry Idea: Sandman Sentry

Simulaneously incredibly fun-sounding yet the stun is horribly rage-inducing.

Make it so they can be reflected by melee attacks and I'm happy.

No, everyone.

Stun is a bad thing, so having everyone able to prevent it somehow would be for the best.

Also the mental image of the Heavy punching baseballs out of the air.

Heavies punching baseballs does sound awesome (especially if he said relevant lines while doing it). I guess that idea could be put to the test if someone decides to test out this weapon.

I'd rather have a dispenser that gives passive razorbacks to all classes instead of ammo and health.

the only way I could see this maybe working is if the concept went something like this:

Disable Sentry

Benefits
-Disables enemy weapon for "x" seconds depending on the range the target was hit
-turns to other enemies that have not been hit yet
-enemies in range basically can not fire their weapon and need to get out of reach

Downsides
-Shorter range
-Less damage (10 per ball)
-A lot slower fire rate (about shotgun rate)
-NOT like Sandman hit. It will not slow the enemy down or completely stun them.
-Basically relies on the Engineer or teammates assisting the sentry
-Because of low damage output, not suitable with FJ

Well, the sentry already kind of relies of the engineer/teammates to assist them to begin with since it really can't kill anyone execpt for those on the verge of death anyways, plus the frontier justice also gains crits for sentry assist kills as well so that really shouldn't be a problem. Anyways, how about:

-Bonk Effect Stays
-x% Faster Projectile Speed

-Targets Any Unstunned Enemies

-Can't be upgraded
-y% Slower Firing Rate
