Just sit around YT, and watch tutorials, that's how you start.

Here's what's wrong with the video.

1. You can hardly see anything, your color correction sucks. It's too dark, and even the color of the lit up parts feel out of place.

2. Even for a OCE, the clip was too short and wasn't even edited. I can do an RGB split too. I never consider that editing, considering any editor with little to no experience can do it. I just consider it adding on an annoyance. Back to the point of #2, clip was too short, and I'm pretty sure your intro was longer than the clip itself.

Sorry if you take this the wrong way, but being an editor myself (albeit it's mainly for TF2), I have to be honest.

I respect your opinion, but as you can see it is one of my first OCE's, I cant think about much more effects I can use except RGB Split and some twitches etc. If you can tell me more about editing I would love to talk with you, just PM me.

It's not about how many effects you can jam into your video, it's about using the game itself, how much you can get out of it for your video, and a very few effects. Use these as your creativity. And when I say effects, I don't mean like using lens flare and RGB split only. I wouldn't even ever use those. I mean effects such as syncing shots to the music, slow motion at the right time, smoothing, etc.

Take a look at these for example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_J2cf029H0

The one thing that bothers me the most about a lot of CoD editors is that they'll just jam 20 effects/plugins into their video and call it an edit.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8eC0x5F-Ok

Here's a video I made going over this said problem I have with most CoD editors. Now the video was only a joke but it still serves this purpose here.

ALSO, there is one effect you should use in most of your videos, and that's color correction. But don't use Sony Vegas' built in CC. That is terrible. Get Magic Bullet Looks for SV. It will work wonders. But don't make it as dark as that. In fact, never make your videos darker than they are, it just doesn't fit for a CoD video of any sort.

Don't make things darker, don't make things brighter (brighter in the sense you turn your light on in your room when the outside is already giving light. It's unnecessary and hurts the eyes). When making color correction, make sure the colors you're implementing compliment the natural colors of the game. This is what I meant when I said your colors felt out of place. They didn't flow well with the game's natural color scheme.

Ok, I will go by parts:
First, I know rechyyy, well not personally but I love his edits and I just saw the MW3 Incorporated yesterday and though how clean and amazing it is.
I liked your video too btw haha.

About the MBL, I have MBL and the CC in my video was made with MBL.

Here is an example montage that I like:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4C5dYYw5uSw

It is clean, not much effects, I loved it, I love SRW's style in all of his videos, but the problem is I don't know how to make things like he does them, when I try to slow-motion it comes out ty, also I don't really know what they use for slow-motion because the regular Vegas slow-mo doesn't give such good quality slow-mo, and Twixtor also doesn't make it very good.

Please if we could talk in the PM's or Skype or w/e it would be much easier for me to follow.
