Question Unable to find essential data

Bought the game last night and I've yet to even get it running. When I hit play I get the following error:

Error: Unable to find some essential data. Please ensure that the game is installed correctly. If the problem persists, please contact technical support.

I've followed all the instructions I've found on the web to fix this including:

- Verifying my game cache
- Manually deleting my cache files
- Re-installing
- Removing the compatibility settings on steam under its shortcut's properties
- Have latest drivers installed
- Updated Java

I play a ton of games on Steam and this is the only one I've ever had a problem like this. Anyone out there who had this issue get it fixed?

Edit - This is for Football Manager 2012

Looks like you've tried every option I can find, best bet would be to report in the SI bugs forum. The devs over there are excellent, and you should get one of them to look at it for you. Hope you get it sorted.
