Low FPS

Recently, i have been noticing some low FPS. i start out at around 20 fps and my computer just holds there now. im running with 8 gb ram an nvidia geforce gtx 460m and an Intel I7 1.73 GHz processor. is this the normal for a system with similar specs? also im not running the game on ultra but somewere around the setting of high.

It may be cause it is cause of overheating, your gpu is not powerfull enough, you have too high settings, and maby cause of the fact that it is laptop specs, those are not near as powerfull as desktop pc.

Has it allways been at 20fps?

Oddly no originally my computer ran it at 40 FPS, i do have quite a bit of new mods installed but none of which alter the game graphically. also i have it turned down a bit from high seeing as the recomended were high so i just decided to turn it down. my GPU is peakingout at 95C for tempature and my CPU peaks out at 67C.

Edit: another thing i find odd is my fraps is saying im at like 11 FPS now running through thebegining of the game on a new character, yet i dont really notice any lag. maybe my fraps is off or something who know.
