Im scammed!

omg im dying,Rick The Mullet Man scammed me i give him plants vs zombies and he promised humble indie dumble 2 key and then he block me when i give him plants vs zombies,this is the worst thing ever happen to me :'(

This is what happens when you trade outside the system.

Also, if the "worst thing that ever happened to you" is being out two dollars, I want your problems.

Report him via the link on his profile page with as much info as possible. Chat transcripts, screenshots, etc.

Seriously, if you read the sticky on the trade forums, the FAQ about the trade system, Valve's entry about the trade system in their help database, or even the trade window itself, you would know that you aren't supposed to make trades for items that cannot be put in the trade window.

In my opinion, you got your money's worth. Two dollars for a lesson in scamology is pretty cheap.

Don't trade outside the trade system. It is impossible to get scammed if you just use the system. Going outside the system is like giving someone money for something with the understanding that he's going to just go to his car real quick and get your item for you. He isn't coming back.
