Bioshock 2 doesnt start and never has
Hey guys i need help Whenever i start up Bioshock 2 it says preparing to launch then just crashes I never have gotten a error message and It disapears from task manager like 30 seconds after I start it on my friends list it will say im playing the game then close I dont now what to do I contacted 2k and this is what they said.
The game is not launching passed Steam pre-pairing to launch Tried verify game files same issues. Tried reinstall of GFWL same issues. Tried clean reinstall of .net framework 3.5 and 4.0 same issue. Suggested to contact GFWL support as this was happening to another game as well. Windows 7 I7 3.4Ghz 8GB Geforce gt545 8.17.12.85.62 |

Looks like you are still having issues with GFWL. You did download the reinstall GFWL directly from MS correct?
I found this after looking around a bit. Possible user profile corruption. Quote:

If you go into the Windows control panel there are two entries one for LIVE and one for the Marketplace. LIVE and the Marketplace are two different entries in the control panel list. Microsoft Games for Windows-LIVE Redistributable and Microsoft Games for Windows Marketplace.
Are you saying that if you try to uninstall them from the control panel they won't uninstall? |
