Want to use PS3 controller for PC version

So does anyone have any idea how I'd go about doing this? I checked in the options in game and didn't see any to switch to controller settings. This is my first time attempting to use my PS3 controller on my PC.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Motioninjoy

Theres a program called MotioninJoy that is signed by microsoft and works 100%

Download it here
http://www.motioninjoy.com/download

Just follow the instructions and when youre done make sure to click the button for the Xbox 360 controller profile.

your controls will automatically be set up

Doesn't work 100% for me, the rumble doesn't work properly on this game. Before Amalur motioninjoy worked 100% in every game that supports 360 pad though.

Yea you need the Motioninjoy software to emulate the 360 controller inside windows. You also need a bluetooth adapter though. The motioninjoy website has some really good info, check it out.

you cannot use your ps3 controller unless you get a Bluetooth adapter.

Ditto. I have been playing with it for quite a while. Don't need the Bluetooth, just plug it in to a USB port on your PC the same way you'd connect with your PS3. Although, having Bluetooth would be sweet...wireless rules.

And you'll probably see the class alpha thing on the list first. So before you ask, here you go.

Tocaedit / x360CE works fine with KOA:R if you rename the DLL to xinput1_1.dll for the game. Gives a "ding" during loading screens to confirm, then lets you use the controller in the game.

Should be compatible with your PS3 thingie I think.
