Team Fortress 2 "Black Rose"
Receive the free Alliance of Valiant Arms-themed Team Fortress 2 weapon, "Black Rose", by unlocking the "1st One Down" achievement in A.V.A.!*
To receive the free TF2 item, players must create a character and complete their first game to unlock this achievement. (Players who've already unlocked should also receive the item.)
*The "Black Rose" will be available in TF2 later on today

Additionally, the A.V.A. team has included a Team Fortress 2 item in their game! For this weekend only, jump into A.V.A. and you'll receive the "Holy Mackerel" as a melee item for your A.V.A. character.

Alliance of Valiant Arms, the popular Free-to-Play game on Steam, is having a special Weekend Deal to commemorate their latest update which includes Steam achievements! Now through Monday at 10AM Pacific Time, all in-game purchases will net you double the G Coins in A.V.A.! Additionally, a new A.V.A. themed item, the "Black Rose", has been added into Team Fortress 2. Complete the AVA achievement, "1st One Down", to unlock the TF2 item later on today and you'll also receive the TF2-inspired "Holy Mackerel" for your A.V.A. character! the hardest part is patching the stupid game. Been sitting here for 20 minutes and it's like 10% done patching

I wonder how true this is, I played this game over the summer when it first went f2p on steam on another computer. Hope it still counts.
